Dad's Night Vision Binoculars

Night Owl Pro Nexgen Night Vision Binocular (5x)

Dad is constantly in the woods.  It seems that if he didn't have to work and if he didn't have a wife, he would just live in the woods.  His favorite time of the year is fall cause that's deer hunting season.  This past father's day, I picked him up some night vision binoculars from that big retail store Bass Proshop.  He was like a kid with a new toy.

At the end of this summer, he's been in and out of the woods a lot getting ready of course for deer season.  One night, he was still there about an hour after sunset wrapping up some of his prep work, clearing brush and plowing feed plots among other things.  Before leaving though, he climbed up in his stand to try those binoculars out.  He told me that it was just like day time.  He could see everything.  He even spied on an owl about 250 yards across a ravine from his stand.

I payed a little over $500 for his binoculars but then later bought some myself off amazon for almost $100 cheaper.  That's why I'm posting this so that you too can take advanage of these things.

Reviews:

I was blown away at the hundreds of yards of view with these night vision binoculars! Unmatched, as I also own night vision monocular or single sight IR which can barely see 10 feet! I live next to a very large cranberry bog and watched a cayote, at 300 yards in complete darkness, walk along the far bank. Amazing

These binoculars really work well. i had purchased a monocular, with little magnification, and was displeased (returned it). this has enough magnification, but not too much (otherwise your field of view becomes very small and hard to focus). the "high beam" infrared is also real nice. we've been watching nocturnal animals from our second story window with clarity and ease.

A few years ago, dad had bought some eyeclops night vision goggles for getting out of the woods when it was already dark.  Around the same time, my sister had bought what she says was the best night vision camcorder ever.  These binoculars are over the top when comparing the quality of these night owl night vision binoculars with those other night vision products.

These binoculars allow you to enjoy another side of the outdoors that you normally don't get to see.  Dad will be making use of these for years to come.  After dad constantly talking about them, I picked me up some too.  I had gotten Dad's at a local hunting and outdoors store for a little more that $500 (you can find thermal goggles for sale at various hunting & fishing outdoors stores) but I got mine off amazon where they were cheaper.
